Dr. Maximilian Menn Law Firm

After studying law in Passau and Münster, I initially worked as a research assistant at a major international law firm in Frankfurt am Main while working on my doctorate.

After completing my doctorate, I completed my legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt (including a four-month posting abroad at the German Embassy in Canberra, Australia).

Following this, I worked for around 10 years as a lawyer in the dispute resolution department of the international law firm Freshfields (formerly Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer), most recently in the position of Counsel. During this time, I specialized in national and international litigation and arbitration and advised German and international companies in all areas of commercial law. A particular focus of my work was on the defense of class actions.

In April 2025, I was appointed as a lawyer at the Federal Court of Justice. Since September 2025, I have been working together with Dr. Christian Zwade in the law firm ZWADE | MENN.
